The Alexandria Democratic Committee (ADC) is the local committee created by and composed of citizens of Alexandria, Virginia who share the political beliefs and aims of the Democratic Party. The ADC welcomes new members and encourages political participation on every level.
Representing Alexandrians, the ADC is a part of and recognized by the Eighth District Democratic Committee and the Democratic Party of Virginia. Members of the ADC are active in the Eighth District Committee as well as the state party, and every four years, the ADC sends representatives to the Democratic National Convention.
Active, involved community-minded folks make the ADC a finely-honed local political organization — well respected for strong grassroots support of our outstanding elected representatives and candidates for office.
As an anchor for the Democratic Party of Virginia, the ADC can be counted on to help deliver votes in our part of Northern Virginia.
