SARA Program Clothesline Project T-shirt Decorating Event
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, SARA Program Clothesline Project t-shirt decorating event, at the SARA Office, 421 King Street, Alexandria (4th floor). Sponsored by the Sexual Assault Response and Awareness (SARA) Program of Alexandria, the Clothesline Project displays t-shirts painted by survivors, families, and friends of those affected by violence. Finished t-shirts will be displayed to increase awareness of the impact of violence against women and to celebrate the strength to survive. With permission from those who created the shirts, t-shirts will be put on display at City Hall from April 14-23 and from April 24-30 at the Diva Designer Consignments Boutique at 116 S. Team Englin Volunteer Night

We have lots of work to do to update constituents on what their General Assembly got up and to keep empowering people to get involved and make change.
