7:30 – 9:00 pm, Calling All Young Democrats! - Alexandria Young Democrats March General Membership Meeting at the Alexandria Democratic Committee headquarters, 618 N. Washington Street, Alexandria. Please come out and join us for our first general membership meeting of the year! We will have a guest speaker from Organizing for America, the grassroots organizing arm of the Democratic National Committee on hand to discuss their upcoming projects and ways you can get involved. We will also discuss our planning of the upcoming Virginia Young Democrats Convention. Please be prepared to renew your $25 membership for the year and bring a friend! ‘Turn the Page’ Community Reading Event Special Presentation
7:30 pm, ‘Turn the Page’ Community Reading Event Special Presentation at TC Williams High School, 3330 King Street, Alexandria. “Turn the Page” will conclude its community reading event with a special presentation by Co-Author Ashley Merryman, who will discuss her book “NurtureShock: New Thinking about Children” and will be available to sign copies of it after the program.
